Black Hats, Red Flags and Other Curiosities InfoSec Law 2009

03:00 PM - 03:45 PM

Technology changes with mind boggling speed. Law, on the other hand, is slow to change and relies heavily on history to decide new issues. This contrast, coupled with well-intention legislation which fails to recognize the realities of today's digital world, poses new challenges for information security. This session will address some of the newer legal developments and their impact, and consider issues which may arise as capabilities, uses and perceptions of technology continue to evolve.
